Preceptors play important roles in training, aspiring administrators to deal with a variety of situations while successfully running a facility. 

 

PLEASE NOTE before registering for this course:  To apply to be a Preceptor, the Idaho Bureau of Licensing requires you be currently practicing as a nursing home Administrator and have a minimum of two (2) consecutive years as a nursing home Administrator.

Preceptors play important roles in training aspiring Administrators to deal with a variety of situations, while simultaneously successfully running a facility.  

In this course, participants will:

  • Review and apply adult learning principles and practices
  • Become familiar with the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing statutes, administrative rules, and forms
  • Access the NAB AIT Program Manual
  • Understand the expectations of an Administrator in Training (AIT) 

Upon successful completion (80% or better) of the Course Completion Exam, participants will receive a certificate from IHCA and be better prepared to create a comprehensive program that cultivates successful AITs.

The cost of this course is  $250.
